Financial Impact
- We aim to take the company’s net worth up from a projected 20M in 5 years to 50M in the next 10 years, making ours the largest manufacturing facility in this space in Kenya. We expect facility expansion after 5 years in business.
- Financially, our CSR impact on locals should cross 120K USD per annum. This includes the distribution of free meals and briquettes to underprivileged locals, medical facilities, and free fodder to boost cattle rearing. This also includes skills training undertaken by our COO himself, to nurture the right skill sets, create jobs and empower women.
- Ours is the only facility of its kind and scale in Kenya to plan for 6 revenue streams (activated briquettes, niche pallets, animal fodder, and solid and liquid organic fertilizer), and this will help amplify our financial impact.
The Change We Will Bring About
Though profits are the only way to sustain any business, our real success will be in the socio-economic and environmental change our one idea will bring about, not just in Kenya and even the world. We expect to touch lives in every fruitful way possible. Like by helping households and industries to switch to green energies, and by taking along all our stakeholders on a journey that improves both, lives and livelihoods.
The three changes we take the most pride in are:
Going Green
Our green energy solutions should facilitate a demand shift from all non-renewable energies. A switch to green and sustainable solutions that tackle pollution, deforestation and a host of other issues as well.

Uplifting Livelihoods
We work with an all-Kenyan working team of about 50 people, half being women. We ensure that locals are trained and employed to earn better livelihoods for their families and equip them with better employability even in the future.

Improving Lives
With CSR initiatives that impact lives, like those that provide potable water, medical clinics and healthy food canteens to locals, Alkebulan truly believes in rising together. Our circular economy framework guarantees that what we get from the locals returns to them in the end.
